Send dummy requests over the TCP connection (WMS wants GET_PARAMETER,

Real wants OPTIONS) while the connection is idle, otherwise it will
be aborted after a short period (usually a minute). See the thread
"[PATCH] rtsp.c: keep-alive" on the mailinglist.
